In early March, following a few words by Vice Mayor David Luna, the ribbon was cut and the doors were opened at Urban Jungle Fun Park.
This indoor metropolis-themed park is Mesa’s newest attraction for families and kids of all ages. It features giant trampolines, climbing walls, a multi-level play structure, an inflatable obstacle course and an area designed for toddlers.
Founder Bob Krause took several city officials and friends for a VIP tour. The vice mayor was among those trying out park activities. “It’s a great place to engage your kids, and even adults who want to be kids,” he exclaimed.
At the grand opening, kids ran from feature to feature. Many parents were in the secluded adult lounge sitting on massage chairs and watching big screen TVs.
The park’s first birthday parties were hosted in private party rooms, complete with a host, food and decorations.
“We are super excited to be a part of the Mesa community, and we were shocked at the great amount of support we quickly received from the public at our grand opening,” said COO Brad Collins. “We look forward to providing an affordable place for families to bond through fitness at a fun level.”
