A facial treatment dubbed the Best Facial of the Century, by Cosmopolitan magazine’s United Kingdom edition, has arrived at Cosmos Salon and Day Spa.
Cosmo’s licensed aesthetic professionals Jill Batista, Maria Keller and Margaret Midlick are well trained in the Repechage Four-Layer Facial, and will offer the incredibly relaxing treatment, during the month of October, for only $99.
“Those dog days of summer are gone, and the after effects of sun, dust and low humidity have taken their toll on your skin,” said Sandra Barbetta, salon co-owner with husband Cosmo. “Your pores are screaming for exfoliation, moisture and that healthy glow you love. We hear you, and we can help.”
The Repechage Four-Layer Facial is described as follows:
- The four-step facial components are derived from freshly harvested European seaweed, which is blended into concentrated serums and masks, rich in vitamins intended to promote hydration and rejuvenate the skin. After a deep cleansing and exfoliation, they are introduced to the skin in four layers.
- The aesthetician first applies a soothing C-serum, gently massaging it into all areas of the face, neck and décolleté. The C-serum is designed to help the skin regenerate and heal.
- A velvety hydration cream follows. As it blends with the C-serum, circulation and skin elasticity begin to improve.
- A cooling and hydrating seaweed mask is then applied to tone and firm the skin. It conforms to your face, seeking out all areas in need.
- Lastly, a rich mineral mask is gently brushed atop the seaweed mask. It will start to warm and activate ingredients in the seaweed mask, which will infuse the skin with moisture and soften it to the touch.
“And while these layers work in harmony, you will be receiving a moisturizing paraffin hand treatment—sheer bliss,” Sandra exclaimed. “The result is more toned, softer skin, with a healthy glow.”
