Here are five simple steps you can take today to get organized, which will, in turn, reduce your stress.
Use containers. Any time you have a lot of small items scattered under your sinks, in your cabinets and in drawers, things will get disorganized in a hurry.
Store items you use often at a height you can reach easily. Any time you have to get out a stool or ladder to put something away, you will put it on the shelf in front of you.
Refrain from bringing into the house those things you don’t want.
Avoid continually shuffling things around to avoid making tough decisions.
Take a few more seconds to put something away rather than setting it down where it doesn’t belong.
