If you regard your children as your most precious possessions, you are correct.
Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) is dedicated to enabling abused children to overcome their fear of their abusers.
Come to Madsen Hall at Red Mountain United Methodist Church on Feb. 16, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., to learn how this unlikely group protects kids from their abusers. They provide dedicated cell phones, and are on call for the children 24 hours a day. If necessary, they will stand guard day and night to prevent the abusers from threatening the children.
They are known to escort children to and from school, and attend court proceedings where the children are required to testify in the presence of the abusers. BACA is not affiliated with any biker clubs. The members are volunteers who must go through rigorous background checks with fingerprints. They include parents, grandparents and professionals, from law enforcement, to business owners, etc.
The members of BACA promise we will not forget them.
Everyone, including your kids, is invited to attend this presentation. Parking is on the west and south sides of the church. Come and talk with the bikers, and see the bikes. A free nursery will be available, and refreshments will be served.
