Red Mountain Ranch Country Club (RMRCC) has been serving members in Northeast Mesa for more than 30 years, and now is expanding its list of events and activities to create an even better experience for members and the community.
Many of the upcoming events will include fitness- and wellness-focused activities. RMRCC also is planning to add events, which will allow members to taste the club’s delicious food and beverages, while spending time outside and enjoying Arizona’s beautiful weather.
“We’re in the process of planning events to help further create a sense of community,” said Chef Harmon Swartz, who oversees The Player’s Grille at RMRCC.
Harmon describes The Player’s Grille as having a bar and grill atmosphere, with classic options, such as hamburgers and hot dogs. However, changes to the menu are coming, according to the chef. The Player’s Grille is incorporating new, fresh ideas and local products.
Local products and a sense of community are becoming increasingly prominent at RMRCC, where a weekly farmer’s market has just been instituted. The farmer’s market currently takes place every Sunday, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The market aims to support the local businesses in town, and will offer the community a variety of products from which to choose.
“Hopefully, we’ll have it growing dynamically,” Harmon said. “We want to keep adding lots of new things for people to check out.”
Both the farmer’s market and The Player’s Grille are open to the public.
For members, Red Mountain Ranch Country Club boasts one of Arizona’s first golf courses designed by Pete Dye, as well as six tennis courts, a full-size pool and fitness center, all tucked within natural desert landscaping. The country club also has outdoor space and a private reception room available for weddings, parties and other events.
According to Harmon, among the best features of RMRCC are the incredible sights. “The view is pretty much unmatched,” he said.
He added the fact the club is centrally located, in a very small but growing community, which only adds to its appeal.
