Hello Friends,
This happens to be the most difficult letter I have written to date.
The past few weeks have been filled with emotion. Lots of tears have been shed. I want to share with you the fact Poppy’s Home Décor, as you now know, closed on Sept. 30.
I want to thank each of you, our amazing customers. The past 11 years have been an incredible journey, and it is all because of you—my loyal friends, clients and customers. I have had the opportunity to share in the lives of so many clients and friends.
I have spread and created lots of joy for the holidays. I have helped friends design their new homes, and have helped with remodeling projects, etc. I have lost dear friends along the way, and I have watched as families have grown with the birth of new babies.
Poppy’s has been much more than a job. It has been my life and a part of my family. My children and some of my grandchildren have memories of helping and being a part of Poppy’s. So, as you may imagine, this is not easy.
I will continue to do interior design, so the changes at Poppy’s will not affect current or future clients. We will be a part of Christmas boutiques. Periodically, we will send out emails to keep you updated on events and what’s happening.
Again, thank you. None of this would have been possible without you. I am so grateful for the time I’ve had with you and Poppy’s in my life. I have made lifelong friends, and I have had incredible experiences. Life truly is amazing, and I am excited now for the next adventure in my life.
Poppy’s Christmas trees will be available at Wood Creations, located next door, as of Oct. 14.
Remember to embrace color and create beauty.
Sincerely, Susan Haviland
Owner/Interior Designer of Poppy’s Home Décor
