Orange Patch Too, a citrus grove, specialty foods store and gift shop, is ready for the holidays, with plenty of Christmas décor and local food items.
The boutique section of this family business is filled with ornaments, seasonal candles, nativity sets and other festive decorations. “It’s really very pretty, well worth seeing,” said Michelle Smith, who heads Orange Patch Too, along with her sister Katie Hunsaker.
Aside from the seasonal goodies, the gifts boutique sells candles, baby items, clothing and other specialty pieces. “People can get unique Christmas gifts, or pick up something special for themselves,” said Michelle.
In the specialty foods market, you will find a variety of local products, including jams, jellies, honey, salsas and chocolates dipped right at Orange Patch Too. You also can pick up treats, such as ice cream or ready-to-make tortilla soup. These products make a great addition to any holiday meal, but are sold in the market all year long.
Orange Patch Too began in the 1980s as a citrus farm, and the citrus still is a huge draw today. During the season, from early December until February, you can even have the hand-selected citrus delivered straight to your door, whether you live locally, in Mesa, or across the country.
Orange Patch Too is located at 3825 E. McKellips Road. For more information, visit www.orangepatchtoo.com, or call (480) 832-0230. Store hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Orange Patch Too is closed on Sunday.
