What an interesting time we are living in. There is so much uncertainty, and so many of us are worried about our own health and the health of our loved ones.
Many of the Medicare providers are taking steps to help during this time. Several Advantage plans are waiving cost share for members for both primary care and specialist office visits. Telehealth is also becoming a way for us to access care.
The Centers for Medicare Services also announced a SEP (Special Election Period) for anyone affected by COVID-19 nationwide. This means that if you were living in the United States from March 1, 2020 until now, you may have the option to enroll in a different Advantage plan until June 1, 2020.
If you are wondering if you have the right coverage for your needs, please give me a call. I would be happy to talk with you about your options.
There are a lot of commercials on TV advertising different plans, but I live here in East Mesa and am happy to be your local source of Medicare information. Also, if you are turning 65 soon or retiring, give me a call to help you navigate through your options.
