With March 2020 flex starts for several classes at Mesa Community College’s (MCC) Red Mountain campus, including nurse assisting classes, you don’t have to wait months to start.
Plus, these classes will be offered at the convenient Red Mountain Campus in Northeast Mesa, located in your own backyard at 7110 E. McKellips Road, minutes off SR 202 McKellips Road exit.
Flex Start Fits with Your Job and Family
“Combining a job, family, and other classes and responsibilities with college classes can be a challenge,” said Nicole Bartreau, coordinator and residential faculty for the nurse assisting program. “The eight-week Flex Start program makes it faster and more convenient to take the nursing assisting class and get employed in the field.”
That’s why you should consider a campus, like Red Mountain, that is close to your home or work. Plus, there’s the added advantage of a March 2020 Flex Start and the eight-week program.
There are a bevy of scheduling options including evening, weekend, online courses and flex starts. These make it easy to design a custom-fit program with flexibility that might not be possible elsewhere.
In addition to the two eight-week nursing assisting classes (with one Saturday session), there are several other classes offered through Red Mountain’s March 2020 Flex Start which can be found in the class schedule by searching the MCC website — mesacc.edu/red-mountain, spring flex start 2020.
Take Advantage of Red Mountain’s Health Education Career Center
Mesa Community College recently has expanded its health care career education opportunities with the relocation of the nurse assisting program to its Red Mountain Campus.
The Red Mountain nursing assisting program includes lectures, lab and clinical experience to prepare students for the State of Arizona exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA).
Save Time and Money and Become Part of the Red Mountain Family
Taking courses in your neighborhood means you get an affordable price, can save money on gas, and have the opportunity to explore topics and interests you may not have otherwise pursued.
Nicole went on to say that, “Students tell me that taking a course at the smaller, more intimate Red Mountain campus makes them feel like they’re part of a family. Once they’ve tried it, they often continue taking courses there because of its more personal, close-knit environment.”
Transfer agreements with MCC university partners can put students on the most direct path for those pursuing a bachelor’s degree. At MCC, pay 75 percent less than at most four-year institutions and save on free services that can quickly add up on other campuses, such as admission, parking, tutoring, placement testing, career advising, counseling and help finding a job.
