In November, the Las Sendas junior golf programs kicked off its season, which takes place every Friday, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., with junior golf camps offered through April 27, with the exception of major holiday weeks.
The program has an ever-changing curriculum. Therefore, students can jump in any week of any month without feeling behind in terms of their skills. The ages of students range from 5 to 15 years of age. The junior golfers range from the experienced to the novice. The program offers a variety of instruction, from full swing, chipping/pitching and sand game, to putting, and on-course play.
Games and basic fundamentals throughout provide a wide range of diversity and foundation to the program. Keeping the children on their toes without boredom is the key to long-term learning. The latest and simplest golf instructional technology is on its way to the Las Sendas Golf Academy this December. Powerchalk.com, combined with the new Apple ipad 2, will provide a new state-of-the-art technology to better serve the golf enthusiast.
The simple four-step process will be used to record, upload, run the chalk talk telestrator and then share. Step one will be to record the students’ swings. Step two will be to upload the sports clips of video content. Step three will use the ipad 2 to play, pause, mark up, and voiceover your videos. Videos can be compared side-by-side for detailed analysis. Step four involves sharing recording analysis sessions to computers, phones and tablets.
The proper pre-swing positions, angles at address and paths are the three most common features when comparing the student to the best swings in the world with split screen technology.
