The kids are out of school for the summer—now what?
In June, the No Snow Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) shop is recognizing National Youth SUP Month. The SUP industry dedicates the whole month to kids. Under the direction of the Stand Up Paddleboard Industry Association, or SUPIA, Youth SUP Days are designed to get as many kids on the water as possible, educating them in relevant skills and water safety, as well as molding the next generation of SUPers.
With the summer heat in full swing, there is no better way to cool off than by paddleboarding the lake or river basin. Register for free kids clinics. They will learn the importance of safety around water, life vests and the basics of stand up paddleboarding.
Visit the website at nosnowsup.com. Also, check out Facebook.com/NoSnowSUP, or drop in at the shop for a complete list of events. Be sure to register for the free Youth Learn to SUP clinics, held weekly through June 30.
Can’t attend a clinic? No problem. All kids receive goodie bags when they rent on any day in June.
