With the Hawaiian Mega Hula a sensational hit with tubers in June, Salt River Tubing will host a mammoth encore Hawaiian Mega Hula event on the Lower Salt River, on Saturday, Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Once again, grab your coconuts, don a grass skirt or luau shirt, and head out to Salt River Tubing in beautiful Tonto National Forest for a unique adventure on the Lower Salt River. The first 1,000 Mega Hula participants will receive a free Hawaiian lei.
Salt River Tubing’s Hawaiian luau adventure offers a cool and refreshing experience in the great outdoors, and we will welcome you with limbo music pulsating on our beach. The More Kids in the Woods event showcases Salt River Tubing grass-shaking Hula Honey line dancers with limbo and hula hoop contests. Hawaiian barges will transport guests to the Lower Salt River for fun in the sun on the 68-degree mountain-stream rocking rapids. Salt River Tubing will award free tube rental passes and limited edition Hawaiian Mega Hula T-shirts for the best Hawaiian tuber costumes. Passes are valid on your return visit.
“Our Hawaiian Mega Hula event in June was a huge fan favorite with our guests,” said Salt River Tubing President and Chief Executive Officer Henri Breault. “Tubers were delighted with the tropical Polynesian atmosphere, and unique, memorable voyages on the Salt River were enjoyed by thousands. We have created a one-of-a-kind summertime adventure on the Lower Salt River, which is fun for all ages in Tonto National Forest.”
