Medicare annual enrollment is just around the corner. The official dates are from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. New plans are available for review on Oct. 1.
If you have a Medicare Advantage Plan or a Medicare Drug Plan, it is always a good idea to review it and see if there are any changes that might affect you. Oftentimes, new plans come out with benefits that are worth looking at and seeing if they might be of value to you.
Of course, you will start seeing the endless stream of Medicare commercials on network TV. This is always a time to proceed with caution. If you have a trusted Medicare agent, please turn to them for advice and help. I believe strongly that meeting or talking with someone locally is always better than a stranger on an 800 line.
As a local agent, I am required to pass certification tests and attend new product rollouts that will help me help you. If you don’t have an agent but would like to confirm your plan, please reach out to me.
As always, please call me to make an appointment if you are about to enter the Medicare world or have questions about your situation. I would love to be your guide.
