Santa Claus is coming to town, and going straight to Zaharis Elementary School on Dec. 12, from 5 to 9 p.m for an Evening at the North Pole.
In addition to being a fund-raising event for the school, “It is a wonderful way to relish the community and feeling of the holidays,” said Meridith, a member of the school’s PTO. For $2, children can have their photo with Santa, while sharing their Christmas wishes.
Santa isn’t the only attraction for this exciting event. The hardworking PTO of Zaharis Elementary, which, in addition to Meridith, includes Shannon, Marianne and Diane, has organized a holiday boutique, with more than 30 unique vendors. Christmas gifts await you among the varied handcrafted items, jewelry, infused glass, art and homemade treats.
There is something for everyone. Secret shopping, along with free gift-wrapping, is available for the children. They can buy for family members, so everyone has a surprise on Christmas morning. “It is my favorite activity of the year, as the spirit of joyfulness is felt that night,” said Shannon.
Come to Zaharis Elementary School, on Dec. 12 to shop, drink hot cocoa, eat dinner, and say hello to Santa before he heads back to the North Pole.
If you are interested in being a vendor, contact Shannon at zptopres@gmail.com, or leave a message at (480) 308-7252.
