Chris Baker, a Realtor with Weichert Realty, has had his real estate license for nearly 15 years, accumulating experience with commercial and residential real estate, as well as land development.
“I’ve been all around, and I’ve dabbled in everything” he said. “I enjoy the human interaction, whether it’s commercial or residential, it makes no difference to me.”
Chris, who comes from a customer service background, says what drew him to real estate was the ability to work with people.
“I’ve always enjoyed working with people,” he said.
Chris’ people-based approach to real estate has helped him to recruit the business of his friends, and to also create lifelong, repeat clients.
“I’m a hard worker, and I’m here to help them, not only on a short-term basis, but also on a long-term basis,” he said. “A lot of my clients I’ve worked with I’ve helped with multiple properties.”
With the changes in the real estate industry, Chris acknowledges that many people feel they no longer need representation, because so much information is online.
“The basics are there at their fingertips, but they still need to have someone who is knowledgeable,” he said. “Even with things like contract changes, they need to have somebody who can walk them through that.”
In addition to Chris’ years of experience, his clients also benefit from his attention to detail and eagerness to jump into action to help them buy or sell their property.
He explained that when many people initially speak to a Realtor about buying or selling property, it’s still just an idea. Chris does the research, however, and creates a plan showing the client what steps to take to make it happen—helping to make dreams a reality.
