For a special way to begin your celebration of the Christmas season, have a heartwarming time watching the enthusiastic children and youth of Red Mountain United Methodist Church perform the musical We Three Spies, on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 4 p.m., in the church sanctuary.
The musical, open to people of all ages, begins with the introduction of the Christmas Intelligence Kids, a group of ordinary kids who secretly bring holiday cheer to those around them. But three spies, agents E, L, and F, try to stop the Christmas Nativity play being prepared by the group. The role of these three spies is crucial to the plot of the play. They ultimately learn God is in control and is bigger than any obstacle presented to them.
A cookie celebration will follow the performance in Madsen Hall.
