The Apache Junction Unified School District Community Services Office is hosting its 2023 season of the Arizona Lecture Series beginning Jan. 9, 2023. If you are interested in learning more about the culture and history of Arizona and the United States, be sure to attend.
January lectures include:
- John F. Kennedy presented by Ken Sorenson on Jan. 9
- John Dillinger Public Enemy No. 1 presented by Bill Harrison on Jan. 16
- Desert Dwellers presented by Wild Man Phil Rakoci on Jan. 23
- Unconditional Surrender: A Visit with Ulysses S. Grant presented by Pete Grady on Jan. 30
Lectures continue every Monday through March 27 at the Performing Arts Center, 2525 S. Ironwood Road in Apache Junction. To view information on February and March lectures, visit www.ajusd.org/page/12135.
All lectures start at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person, or season tickets are $50 for all 12 lectures.
