The Arizona Cantilena Chorale will perform the Songs of Three Stephens, songs of Foster, Schwartz and Sondheim, on Friday, May 4, at 7 p.m., at the Red Mountain Campus of Mesa Community College, located at 7110 E. McKellips Road.
On Saturday, May 5, the group will sing at 7 p.m. at Dayspring United Methodist Church, located at 1365 E. Elliot Road, in Tempe.
The chorale’s final performance of the Songs of Three Stephens will be held on Sunday, May 6, at 4 p.m., at the Church of the Master, 6659 E. University Drive, in Mesa.
Filled with lively selections from these wonderful American composers, the concert promises to be enjoyable and fun, with music the whole family will recognize and enjoy. Featured will be tunes aplenty, from Broadway to the 19th century parlor songs, a popular romantic fare of the day. Plan now to join us for this exciting and delightful musical presentation.
Tickets are $10 each for adults. Tickets for students, seniors, veterans and children are $5 each.
The Arizona Cantilena Chorale, a nonprofit organization, performs across the Phoenix metro area, and is dedicated to bringing high-quality vocal music from a variety of composers. The group consists of 25 men and women who demonstrate fine excellence in musical talent and musicianship.
