Flancer’s 18th annual Charity Pizza Eating Contest was a huge success, with Snowman being proclaimed the winner of the $250 cash prize after eating 16 tasty slices in just 18 minutes and 47 seconds.
A sincere thank you goes out to all the contestants who enjoyed Flancer’s amazing pizza while supporting three local charities. These charities are:
- Warfighter Sports, helping injured veterans
- Sunshine Acres Children’s Home
- Jewish Family and Children’s Services, Max Flancer Fund
“Looks like we surpassed the $25,000 fund-raising mark,” said Flancer’s owner Jeff Flancer. “Amazing kudos to all our sponsors, patrons and staff, especially General Manager Greg Ringel and Assistant General Manager Myke Jones.”
