To start the New Year off right, Il Forno, an Italian restaurant, is offering two happy hours Monday through Friday, with all food and drinks at amazingly low prices.
“We want everyone in the neighborhood to know you don’t have to travel far to get the best authentic Italian food at reasonable cost,” said Il Forno owner Mat Tran. “We’re having two happy hours every weekday so everyone can try us. Lunch Happy Hour is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with everything at half price, and Dinner Happy Hour is from 4 to 6 p.m., with 30 percent off all food and drinks,” he continued. “The only thing not on special is our Lexus5 specialty wine.”
In addition, Il Forno’s chef, Giorgiono Vignali, is making up a new surprise dish each week, which will be offered at a lower price. It might be a featured menu item, which is discounted, or it might be an entirely different chef’s choice special creation. “The surprise dish won’t appear on the restaurant’s Web site specials,” said Mat. “You have to come in to find out, and it will be worth it.”
In addition to made-from-scratch raviolis, pastas and bread, as well as homemade mozzarella and Italian sausage, Il Forno offers a variety of pasta dishes and Italian-inspired entrées, wood-fired pizza, sandwiches, salads and a complete bar.
A previous IT consultant, Mat has put together a new Web site for Il Forno. He suggests checking out www.italianrestaurantsmesaaz.com for daily discount specials and coupons.
